Nice family day out. Car park is a rip off 3 pounds an hour is too much, prices for the boats is a lot as well. The boats was fun though, the beach is non existent so not really a beach the lake was decent nice swim in it just too shallow. Overall kids enjoyed it.
This place is such a nice family day out or holiday! It is ideal for all ages and people, old or young, disabled or fine it is perfect. There are no water slides, but what I really like is that the swimming places are more nature like. You can swim, grill, eat, camp and pretty much anything you want! Workers also really nice
Stayed 2 nights, and for a quick little getaway with the family it was perfect! My girls aged 3 and 6 absolutely loved it! They had lots of greenery to run around and play with other children that they met who were also camping, the hand made beach was perfect my youngest could walk to the other side unaided so isn't to deep and they loved it, we always come for a day out this was our fist time camping and we will definitely be back next year, only thing I would say is toilets and showers could do with updating
Nice place to walk around and chill out, went back yesterday for the first time in over a year, the kids enjoyed the day out and. Also a little kids fair was there with a few rides which they liked. Quite a few people having picnics but was clean and all rubbish was disposed of in the many bins. The water had also been changed in the smaller pool with plenty enjoying it.. Was a Nice day out and the feel of normality again!
For camping, excellent setting plenty to do. Excellent children's playground. Staff made a big effort to keep facilities clean, so it felt virus safe. Really effort to keep bins empty and pick up litter, saw staff out at 8am.
It's very busy, but quite good fun. The water could be a bit cleaner, but it was fine for the hot weather at the big lake. The food was reasonable and there is a large play area for children as well as a few fairground rides.
Lovely family time spent here. Busy but not overcrowded. Pedalo hire was great fun. Ice-creams and mini fairground were great too. So nice to see the children enjoying the facilities here. Well organised and clean. Lovely holiday vibes all around.
Extremely nice area to go with family as well as children, Good lake, excellent environment, as well as it is fantastic location to do BBQ, we actually appreciated our time. the car park is a bit costly, but we have actually been there 4 to 5 times in 1-month. Good people as well as excellent atmosphere we truly liked it most definitely we would certainly go again.
Loved it here, man made beach, pedalos, cafe, ice cream, candyfloss, shop to get beach and fun items at. For a day out it's fabulous, we didn't camp or caravan but are very interested to in the future. Only downside was I felt the parking was a bit pricey which you don't pay for when stopping over night.
Lovely park with quit a few rides and playing areas for kids.. Parking is also free if you park across the road there is an open huge car park. The only thing is we didn't get chance to hire a boat because we went on a busy day and all boats were sold out. Other than that we had a lovely day with family and kids.
