Go here regular with my dog . It gets quite busy at the moment. It has a path so pram and wheelchair friendly. No toilets.
Lovely place ideal walk with smaller kids. After rain the footpath can be very muddy so wellington recommended.
Good quiet place for a mooch about with the kids. Borsdaine brook passes right through it. Not covered with dog eggs. There's a couple of places to park your car and lots of interesting things to look at while you're in there. The brook is good for paddling in.
It's not filled with amazing waterfalls or wonders of the world. It is however a beautifully stunning ancient woodland, filled with peace and tranquility. I walk my 4 dogs in here every day and never get tired of it. We are so lucky to have this 5 minutes from my house. It can be quite muddy in some parts so don't expect your new white trainers to look the same when you come out. A team of volunteers do an amazing job keeping it as pristine as it deserves to be. This place is a treasure that's should always be respected.
Been going since i was a kid excellent place for a good walk and explore the river with the kids, only shame is its a bit littered, people really need to take their rubbish home!
Love coming here for a beautiful walk, good for dog walking too.
Love this place. Great walk, lots of nature
Me and my husband Joe took our 2 dogs, Toby and Jude and next doors lab Muffin. We had a lovely walk. There were lots of other dogs to socialize with. In these uncertain times it's great to get out in the fresh air and know that you are safe .
Our grey loves her adventures and seeing lots new fur friends having good sniff
