My 99yr old Father stayed at this care home for respite care so I could go on holiday.nHe was quite nervous at first but within minutes he felt at ease as all the team were so welcoming and friendlynHe told me how much he enjoyed his stay and commented that it was more like a 5 star hotel with the addition of an attentive care team.nHe is now encouraging me to book another holiday quite soon.

We looked around a few care homes for my father-in-law who has dementia issues among a few other issues. 9 months in we have found it to be great - staff are excellent all-around from Mark, Hannah and Louisa through to the care team hi Nii, catering and entertainment team as well as the maintenance lads hi Ian we could not have wished for a more friendly warm environment. I recommend looking at the home’s Facebook page as they post pictures of events and outings that they do - all in all could not recommend this care home more…
This comment is based on only one visit. The staff were friendly but it felt understaffed and the communal area was crowded, very noisy and dominated by a loud TV. Please make your own checks as it may not have been typical. I notice the CQC review has been updated to Good and have had a response that communal areas are being improved.
Care homes don't come any better than this! from the welcome you get when you arrive to all the brilliant staff doing a wonderful job caring for the residents
