excellent services. I went in to Boots unsure of my shade for foundation and concealer. Anna assisted me and she was patient until I found my shades. The service was just 1st class. Haven't had such service in a long time. Anna keep up the good work.
didn’t realise but i had accidentally picked up a tester makeup product because it was the last one, lovely blonde lady behind the counter who noticed for me and she went got me brand new sealed, was so polite and nothing was too much hassle for her, excellent
Usually when visiting this boots the service is always quite friendly. However with covid tests becoming increasingly hard to get recently I understand it's a busy time and the prescription and advice stands were closed and I did not know that as it was 1:30 in the afternoon. I was quite rudely told that it was closed and I asked if she knew of anywhere else with covid tests. Just as a query but the response I got wasn't as friendly as I'd hoped. Although I understand the increasing stress over the Christmas period. I was quite let down as I need to take one before going home and would've thought boots would be of some help
I went to Boots store in Commercial Road, Portsmouth and had the best day ever in the city. I had long been thinking of using make up but was uncomfortable about asking help from people working there. Luckily, an employee named Lucy made my day!!! She is absolutely professional at working with people like me. She sat me down and identified what kind of foundation and concealer best suit my skin tone with her machine and even taught me how to apply it. I took her 3o ish minutes and she was totally on it. I cannot stress enough how introverts like me appreciate the friendly and non-judgemental attitude of people in make up stores. I left the store with confidence that I too can use make-up. Lucy, thank you! You are just FAB!!!
The waiting times where good today & the quality of advice I received from the Boots Pharmacy team was first class.
Great experience at the Boots Opticians, I got my contact lenses free trial. The doctor is very nice and he explained everything I needed.
I'm trying to get hold of the pharmacy via the phone number I've literally tried about 6 or 7 times today and I have tried on several other occasions and no one has picked the phone up. all I want to do is see if there is a prescription to pick up But other than that I don't have any other bad experiences with the pharmacy
Went to the make up counter, where Anna was absolutely so wonderful, an amazing help! Needed a new foundation, as my skin was just shocking! I normally hate going into beauty places as let’s face it, you feel like your being judged/ looked up an down. But Anna was so wonderfully friendly, helped me find a better foundation for my skin, I couldn’t say how nice she made me feel!
I was served by Anna on the skincare section today, charming young lady ,who certainly knows her stuff. Thankyou Anna
Avoid at all costs!! The staff at the pharmacy are rude, unwelcoming and incredibly unprofessional. It was my first time using this pharmacy and I was little confused about where I needed to go. After waiting 5 minutes there was a small queue, I went to one of the pharmacy’s cashiers and told her that I had a prescription. She then told me in an abrupt way to go to the main desk so I did. At the main desk there was this rather arrogant, unapproachable young female packaging some pills. I stood there waiting for a couple of minutes and she said “just sit there” and nodded towards the plastic chair. After some time, the initial, older women called me over and asked for my details. I told her that the nurse I went to earlier in morning at 9:30 ish at Eastney healthcare centre told me that the prescription would take 20 minutes. She bluntly said “they say that” and I was left feeling rather annoyed. Baring in mind, it was 12:00pm so they had at least 2 hours to sort my prescription out. There is no need to be rude. I chose to listen to my nurse, it’s not my fault nor problem that you can’t deliver on time. I had to wait a further 30 minutes for my prescription. Ridiculous. It’s comical, they had cryptic very passive aggressive signs up about treating staff with respect and how they have zero tolerance to abuse. Well I wonder why you get abuse and disrespect, you treat customers like dirt. The double standards is a joke. Those horrible women are obviously working in the wrong sector. The “service” they provided was disgusting and the complete opposite of what a healthcare “professional” should deliver. Highly disappointing and I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.
