The staff at Boots pharmacy at Holsworthy deserve so much credit for their customer service skills and efficiency…….I witnessed empathy,consideration,problem resolution with smiles and great compassion. They are a credit to your Company…….. I hope the senior management read this review…..
Staff are very friendly and seem to do their best, but the whole system is unorganised and inefficient. My prescription got sent over on Thursday afternoon. Nothing complicated, just one item. I went to pick it up on Monday and after a 45 minute wait I was told it hadn't even been made up and I had to wait at least another hour for the pharmacist, who was on her lunch break, to return. I completely understand that even pharmacists need their lunch break, but seriously, they had the prescription for almost 2 whole working days before I went to pick it up. Why hadn't it been done?!? Having had a 3 year old with me I couldn't hang around for an extra hour so had to come back 2 hours later and wait over ANOTHER half an hour to pick it up. That's absolutely ridiculous and so unnecessary.
Staff are polite and work hard but it's just not working. Long queues to collect prescription, when you do get to the front and get your prescription is always missing one or two items or you have to wait again usually 20+ minutes. They never answer the phone, it ring and rings but is ignored. You have to phone to arrange delivery, which you have paid for, but it takes hours of constant ringing to arrange it.
The pharmacy is not big enough ,the staff are falling over each other .The storage is worse there is no privacy . It will only get worse when the new houses are occupied.nBoots you really need to sort it .There is no other pharmacy in the area now so you have the monopoly.
I know the staff work hard but they need to employ more staff and enlarge the place and car park what’s going to happen when all these houses are built. We old folk don’t like having to drive several miles to collect our prescriptions and when we get there they are not ready and a lot of medication is missing my husband has been waiting weeks for a particular item.
