I've been to boots opticians for the first time for an eye test. It took an hour and 30 minutes in total from the time I got in until the time I got my the results. Very slow service. Longest eye test I've ever had in my life. The staff didn't seem experienced or confident with what they were doing. The girl that sat me on all those machines took very long to figure out how to use them and how to print. They should train their staff before letting them touch those machines. The only person that knew what she was doing was the optometrist. I don't think I'll be returning though.

Worst Branch - BOOTS OPTICIANS IN COLINDALE - They don’t even deserve 1 star! The staff are a bunch of cowboys who haven’t got a clue what they are doing. They push you into ordering extra bits that you don’t need (e.g Bifocals when all my mum needed was Reading Glasses, Sunlight changing, etc). Then to top it off, they overcharged my mum £21. Trying to get a refund is a nightmare. Apparently only 1 person out of the whole staff there, can do it, but he’s not there everyday! The way they treat their customers is disgusting. The most sickening thing about COLINDALE Boots Opticians is ... THE STAFF ARE DISHONEST!!!! They con you into buying stuff you don’t need. Then once you’ve made the order, you’re at their mercy. Trying to get a refund is like trying to get Blood from Stone!!!

Majority off staff are very poor, have no idea what they are doing, can't use their systems, and don't know what customer service is. You'd be lucky to get through on the phone. Staff lie/fob you off to get you off the phone so they don't have to deal with you. Glasses dont arrive on time, they never check proactively, rely on you to turn up repeatedly and complain before they actually do anything about it. The prices for glasses, lenses, reglazing are ridiculously high compared the almost nonexistence service you get. Staff just want commision without doing the work. A real shame because the Ophthalmologists seem very good, and a few individuals are good, but they are far outweighed and let down by the majority who are extremely poor.

Rubbish service, made me wait 40 minutes for my glasses collection and at the end I was told my glasses haven’t even arrived despite them giving me an appointment for my collection. They hadn’t contacted me at all to let me know not to come in. If I hadn’t ordered my glasses I would never go there again and I do not recommend this place to anyone.

As other people said phones are ringing non stop without anyone to answer, and there is nobody on the floor to greet you. I had an eye test booked for 12.05 and I arrived just in time but there was nobody there I could speak to, except one adviser that was seeing someone at their desk . So I've waited and see if anyone would come up, the adviser had to stand up and look for someone to come and speak with me. After all that they said that I missed my appointment window and I have to reschedule!!! Worst customer service I ever experienced. And I can't believe they are charging you £25 for an eye test, considering the service.
