Excellent sight test. Optician was fabulous, listened to my concerns and explained fully sight changes and options. All the staff working on the shop floor were fabulous, very helpful and made the whole process enjoyable. Excellent 5 star service
I had an appointment with the hearingcare team yesterday. And the lady who examined me was extremely unhelpful and rushed the entire process. She wasn't sensitive to my situation when i explained i lost my hearing due to nerve damage when i was born. She signposted me wrong information when i asked for help. She advised me to go to my gp and ask to be referred to ENT. I asked if She could write an email to my gp to refer me, and she said she couldn't because she didn't examine both ears. One ear was blocked. I asked her where I could get my ears unblocked, and she literally told me to research online and see if i could do it privately! Well, I checked the boots hearingcare website and they literally do removals. I don't understand why she couldn't tell me this herself. I left the place completely disheartened. I've never experienced this. I'm more than happy to speak to a manager. I did wrote an email of complaint to support boots hearingcare. I hope this won't happen to anyone else
Greeted on arrival, appointment time met with no waiting.The optician provided a friendly and helpful contact lenses check up, explaining everything clearly. Very pleased with the service received.
Louis was very helpful when we brought our new Glasses. He was very patient when we were choosing our frames and very helpful in advising us on the type of Lenses and answered all our questions professionally and made us feel at ease.
The eye test was done very professionally and everything was explained to me so that I understood what the photos of my eyes meant and what the changes to my prescription meant too. Then David spent ages with me helping me select new frames for both reading and long vision plus sunglasses and made sure on the metal framed glasses that I would have thinner lenses so that they won’t stand outside of the rims. His help was invaluable.
Brilliant service. A thorough check up and eye test. Would recommend everyone to get their eye test done at boots. Very happy customer.
I did not have the eye test and walked out of the shop before hand. I was disappointed with the seating area which was confined. I did not like to be asked to provide personal details about my DoB and address whilst sitting amongst with customers. I did not like to be asked to provide an electronic signature without being able to read what it was exactly that I was signing. I was asked by the optician to sit behind another customer in the same darkened room who was having his eyes tested. The whole experience was poor in my opinion and was disrespectful to myself and other customers.
From the minute I walked into the shop through to my consultation the service I received was above expectations. Mrs Solanki and her staff were very accommodating, friendly and helpful.
I visited Solihull Boots opticians for safety glasses for work. The eye test went really good but when we got to the point to order the frame for the safety glasses personnel were a aware of the process. They could not find the login details, the sample in the store did not correspond with the glasses in the Bolle wensite and the lady was extremely rude. I bacame very frastrated with the whole situation and I lost my trust that what she was ordering was what should be. Still the ladies rude and they did not understand that they needed to provide their best services for their customers.
Following a slight issue with my first pair of glasses which needed to be replaced following a mismeasurement and manufacturing fault. I had Jo put onto my case, she was excellent, taking all the measurements again, checking the lens and reordered the new specification glasses. She arranged for me to collect them when she was working. She checked every aspect of the new specs which are now marvellous, fitting well and the lens spot on for focus, positioning etc. A great job Jo and I will certainly be returning to the branch. Thanks .
