Excellent customer service. I was warmly welcomed as soon as I entered the store for my appointment and everything that was going to happen was clearly explained. After my eye test, the staff were very helpful and patient in assisting me to choose new glasses. Only downside was the cost. I took advantage of the second pair at half price and got new sun glasses so it was particularly expensive this time. However, I don't understand why frames are so expensive. We are forced to pay these ridiculous prices for the benefit of our sight although I appreciate this is not exclusive to Boots.
My local opticians for years but now thought about going somewhere else as felt disappointed with customer service. I usually pay for thinner lens and when I pick my frames, It comes up with an error on computer, They usually enter a code to overwrite. Last time I went the person who can enter the code was filling out paper work at desk simply looked over and said no. I felt like they couldn't be bothered. To top it off I had nothing but eye pains with my new lens so threw glasses away.
I used to be a loyal customer of Specsavers despite poor service received over the years maybe it was due to their catchy adverts and I have had to go to opticians for many years due to my eye health but this was my best experience so far so had to leave a review. The staff from start to finish were all very friendly and the process was very efficient. Checking in and the pre eye scans was very efficient, hardly any waiting time despite it being a busy Saturday morning. The eye test was comprehensive, the optician Ravi was very friendly, thorough and knowledgeable, explaining things about the health of my eyes in a way that I could understand. In terms of frames, usually I hate how glasses look on me as I am fashion conscious and only wear them reluctantly but I had no idea top quality brands were on offer here such as Ray Ban, Gucci and Prada. I got a lot of help in choosing my frames from Iwan who I believe is the assistant manager and was happy to help me. Usually I am very indecisive but he gave very good tailored advice to what frames suit my face type etc so for once I actually think I look good with glasses on! I massively recommend Sandbach Boots, my only regret is that I didn't start coming here sooner!
I came into the crewe boots asking to see if it would be possible to resize my prescription sunglasses I ordered online, the lady dealt with my request instantly and helped resize my sunglasses within 5 minutes. Very kind and generous for doing it for free too. I got my recent glasses from there and the gentleman who helped pick out my glasses was brilliant too. I will be going there again for my next eye test and purchase for sure.
Excellent service by friendly, professional and knowledgeable staff. The eye test was thorough and the locus optometrist, Rebecca, carefully explained the results. Amber was patient and helpful as I chose my new glasses.
What a brilliant service from start to finish. Staff were caring, polite and personable. They explained every part of the process and so I understood what was being done. The technology used was amazing. I’m struggling to think how you could improve on the service!
Georgia was very helpful from checking in and helping me with my pre eye scans. Very easy to talk too and smily. Made me feel comfortable . Ravi was very efficient with doing my eye test and getting my prescription, will be going back to choose my frames soon.
I have never experienced such wonderful service at an opticians before. Every member of staff was both caring, communicative and thorough which put me completely at ease. The optician was really easy to talk to, she listened very attentively to my concerns and I believe she has given me the best advice possible for my eyes. Likewise the advice about potential frames felt very personalised.
The eye test was thorough, but I was shocked at having to pay £650 for a pair of prescription sunglasses. Your prices need to be much more transparent and to be honest, offer better value for money.
Customer service was impeccable, I was looked after from the instant I arrived and throughout my visit. Everything was explained too me very clearly. Amber and Ben were also very helpful in helping me select the perfect set of frames for my glasses. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.
