This is the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. To say the service is slow is an understatement. I submitted a prescription and was told it would be 5 minutes. 40 minutes later I was still waiting! When I was eventually called back to the counter, only part of the prescription could be dispensed and I was told I would have to return the next day for the outstanding items. Totally inefficient, time wasters.

The pharmacy service is disgusting prescriptions mixed up not ordered on time, the communication between the colleagues is terrible no continuity of care avoid with precision.

I am a Boots customer for over 5 yrs, but Ive never ever had that bad experience what I have had today here in Galashiels, at the counter for prescribed medicines. I handled the prescription as normally,was told wait 5-10 mins, so I had a little shopping in the shop, went back, stood there,waited...lots of people been served, called 2-3 who even was not there, I stood there ALONE, then 2-3 people been served at the other counter, after 10 mins standing there I asked if there any chance I will get my antibiotic. Well, a woman claimed I SHOULD tell them I am there. I said, no, the man calls the patients to give the meds to them. I ve been here before, I know the procedure. After that she said I havent heard my name, maybe I wasnt there. Not for sure, cos Ive been back before the man came out who started to handle the meds,calling customers. My name was not called, after every one been served, just men name was called and I stood alone there as a woman...then he walked throught to the other counter served 2-3 people with nappies,etc. Came back,I hoped this is my turn now hurray...but not, he started to serve the new arrivals...and when I dared to ask what about my meds, I was stared by them as I would be an idiot,and one woman tried to explain, this all was my fault. When I did not take it, after all that she said sorry then, but it was not honest at all...I felt humiliated, and I am hugely dissapointed...never go back to this shop again.

Needed an emergency prescription sorted for my daughter in Edinburgh and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Thank you all.
