The pharmacy in this store is awful! I stood waiting to collect a prescription which I’d pre ordered online which is supposed to be an option for those who want to save time and quickly come in and grab it and i was waiting for 17 minutes before I was even served only 3 people in the queue as well so not like they were busy and then told I had to wait even longer for the prescription. When I queried if they knew roughly how long the wait would be the pharmacist was very rude and told me “it’ll take as long as it takes”. The service was appalling and there wasn’t even a big queue, pharmacy staff were disrespectful and had a bad attitude. Not a good experience. Avoid if you can
Don’t bother using the Pharmacy first service. Took ages to get through the queue, then pharmacist obviously doesn’t want to do consultations, tried to sell an off the shelf pain relief remedy that clearly isn’t going to resolve a bacterial throat infection, and said to go see a GP. Doesn’t deserve the Pharmacy First facility in my opinion.
It's ok to pop in if you are already around there, you might be lucky and find what you want, but probably not. The shelves are mostly empty, only a few staff and not so helpful, the pharmacy is slow and the staff pretty rude. All round not a good example of a Boots shop and chemist.
Yet again waited to be served at the pharmacy counter.nOne person behind just ignores you whilst the other went off to serve a customer that she was too lazy to serve.nThe staff need training here.nThe only person that seems to know customer service is Sarah and when she is off the place is chaos.nTerrible servicenWhen you wait for 10 minutes an apology wouldn’t hurt .. but no !
The after hours service, while appreciated, is managed atrociously. Not enough staff. Each prescription is taken one at a time, and all patients are made to wait outside in a queue. I’ve been standing here 15 minutes and three people have been served. I have a mild fever and thank goodness it is a relatively warm night.
