Classic Boots. Very nice selection, the fragrance selection is out of this world. Literally any designer fragrance that you could want they have and they are reasonably priced. I will say that they have some very overpriced items but a majority of their selection is fairly priced. I was also able to find my favorite body oil there which is being discontinued so that was a steal. Their staff is lovely and very helpful and they even have a pharmacy at this one.
The staff here are usually very friendly and helpful.nnThe shop stocks a wide variety of products, including dental products, vitamins and supplements, a first aid section, makeup counters, aftershave and perfumes, hair products and skin care products. There are also a few fridges offering sandwiches, snacks and cold drinks as part of the Boots meal deal.nnWe find the diabetic chocolate section particularly useful as some local supermarkets no longer stock them. There is a small selection of different chocolates available, including boxes of seashells which we often buy as a gift for a diabetic family member. The diabetic chocolates were out of stock during our most recent visit so we hope they'll be back in stock soon.nnThe shop also includes an in-store pharmacy which offers over-the-counter medicines as well as prescription items. The pharmacy also offers the winter flu jab. There can sometimes be a queue at the pharmacy counter but I have always found the staff there to be very helpful.nnThere are plenty of parking spaces nearby, although these can fill up quickly at busy times of year. There are a couple of disabled parking spaces near the shop entrance.
Dreadful service at the pharmacy.nReceived a text yesterday to say my prescription was ready to collect.nDesperately needed. Got to store at 6:40nWould not serve me or hand me my prescriptions. Said they are not dispensing anymore today. Mine were packaged and the store didn't close until 7pm but refused to give them to menAbsolutely disgraceful
Sign saying to queue separately for non prescription items. stood there in pain whilst they served 5 people that arrived after me to be told they wouldn't sell me the cream another pharmacist had sold me. They said it wasn't licensed for the face but its my scalp not my face I need it for. The stuff they wouldn't sell me was working with no issue and they couldn't even recommend anything they would sell me. useless
It would be quicker to be seen by your GP than collect a prescription or make a purchase over the counter. There are five or so tills on that section, rarely find more than one in operation even at peak times.
