The 1-star review is for the pharmacy. Like other reviewers below, I have had a terrible experience here. I was previously with the pharmacy at the nearby Sainsbury's, which recently closed. While not perfect, it was far better than Boots. I will be switching. Please avoid this one.
11th of March afternoon - The old lady at the check out wouldn’t accept the voucher received from the Boots scan 2 recycle scheme… what a joke… what’s the point of having the scheme?
Called in for bandage, came away with some lovely holiday clothing, which was in the sale, for my Granddaughter. She loved her new swimming costume and matching sun hat.
Wide range products and staff are extremely happy to help and advice. Store always clean and tidy and products always available, even in the current climate. Convenient parking a plus.
I had the good fortune to be seen by Lisa MPharm, she is an exceptional pharmacist, lovely human being and a credit to Boots. They are lucky to have someone of her calibre working for them.
This store is the reason the NHS is under such pressure and the wait time in A&E is so high. The pharmacist is rude and condescending over the phone. When I turned up to speak to her face to face as I knew she wouldn’t dare speak to me like that to my face see flapped it and refused to come to the front of the counter even with two security guys behind me. Telling people to sit in A&E for a prescription is insane and if I’m honest embarrassing for BOOTS. She should speak to all customers with respect and should be prepared for customers to challenge the manner on how she speaks to people. She said my prescription wasn’t sent by 111 but Lloyds pharmacy managed to produce it with the same referral how bizarre is that. To me boots pharmacy don’t care about 1 the patient and 2 the crippling pressure that the NHS A&E department is currently under. She needs to learn to watch her tone with people if she is so scared to be confronted by the customer. If it wasn’t for us she wouldn’t have a job and I think she needs to remember that and if this is the way she speaks to customers then I think boots need to review this and start listening to the customers bring the money into the business. Also the lady refunded to identify herself in any way shape of form which speaks volumes to me. If you have done nothing wrong why wouldn’t you come and speak to the customer and also identify yourself. Time of being in store 5-6pm
Very helpful staff who went out of their way to go the stockroom to see if they had any stock that wasn't in the shelves... and they did which was brilliant.
Pharmacy is appalling service, waited 30 minutes for prescription to be made up when it was due to be picked up the day before. Terrible service.
You can print photo in here with affordable price. It’s a nice service!
Always knowledgeable and pleasant staff. Great offers too
