Boots in Cockermouth sorted out my medication, after the GP practice failed to sign off the paperwork. Also thanks to the Castlegate pharmacy for telling me to ring NHS 111, who were also helpful in giving permission to Boots to release the prescription.
Came to Lake District to visit family . After a very early trip started passing blood . The most amazing staff attended. To me and did a woman health check . Diagnosed an antibiotic and a few hours later I already can feel the difference a wonderful pharmacist and very kind assistant . I cannot recommend them enough . They were just fantastic . Thank you
I went to have a flu jab - which is something I get nervous about. The pharmacist was a lovely man. I felt at ease - hardly noticed it, in the end .
Having tried ringing 111, my local surgery and visiting their pharmacy, none of which were any help at all nor able to give any reassuring advice, I visited my local Boots pharmacist who very quickly gave me the reassurance I needed and prescribed some non prescription medication. Well done Boots in Cockermouth - always receive great service. Thank you.
Love the people who work there and they’re very nice and friendly every time I go so I’m giving them 5 . Thank you all for your kind service.
Boots stores all have quality staff who have a genuine care for their customers. They usually have good stocks of items which are difficult to source from a supermarket, like iron tablets. It's always a pleasant shopping experience, which is why there is still a Boots, even in small towns. They really stand the test of time
My daughter went in to buy some perfume. She asked an assistant if they could open the glass cabinet where the perfume she wanted was displayed. She was told the cabinet was open and to get the perfume herself. She was shortly joined by another assistant who said her colleague had said she thought my daughter had a Liverpool accent and she wanted to check she wasn’t ‘stealing anything’. She then laughed and said ‘only joking’. My daughter was shocked and neither of us found this amusing.
I visited Boots to ask for some remedies for a sore joint and I was advised by the miserable sarcastic woman to ‘man up’. Absolutely disgusted by this. She’s in the wrong job and is a disgrace, god forbid someone comes in at an all time low and they are faced with this individual. Not approachable at all, an embarrassment to Boots.
Very helpful staff especially Peter the pharmacist, cannot thank him enough or the dispenser today for helping us as we are on holiday and needed medication. They were so professional and went out of their way.
It's just like all other boots. Not impressed when waiting for the pharmacist to be told he just has a queue. Yes all arrived after me. They were getting their daily methadone. I understand people being on it but not getting pushed to the back of the queue because their on it.
