The Original BOOM Ting... BOOM Burgers with Loud Jamaican Flavours.

Story

Founder Josh De Lisser's Boom Burger restaurant found a permanent home in March 2014 when it moved into 272 Portobello Road. The menu features all the pop-up favourites (Jerk Boom, Boom Burger, Plantain fries) along with new Boom Wings, salads, Fish Boom and some amazing BOOM juices from the cocktail bar. The restaurant offers eat in or take-away from Tuesday - Sunday. Get ready for Summer too as there's a large area outside for al fresco Boom. Open Tuesday - Weds 12 to 11pm; Thursday - Saturday 12 to 1am and Sunday 12 - 6pm

friendly people, i liked the fried plaintains especially. a bit pricey. the drink selection is very poor -- am not a fan of canned drinks!
A little overpriced and the service is a bit chaotic. But a great location and pretty decent food.
Been to a lot of amazing burger places such as secret burger joint etc, and this place tops it. Really high quality beef. Good size. Great seasoning. Lovely roll. Even the fries were well seasoned. Will definitely return
This place has such an amazing vibe from the minute you enter through the door. Absolutely amazing food, the secret sauce is out of this world. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quick pocket friendly bite.
The jerk burger is really, seriously good. Absolutely delicious. Much better than what you get from food market outside. It's a shame it's vastly overpriced. More expensive than a burger restaurant even though it feels more like a canteen or a fast food joint. Worth trying once, however!
Nice burgers for the area! Customer service is lacking though. Staff seemed more focused on chatting up the back than serving customers.
