I went to booker at Kettering mainly to buy a turkey for Christmas. The shop is everything you would expect from a wholesale store, it’s not as refined as a Costco .nThe staff are always really friendly and helpful, overall it’s a standard wholesale shop.
First time I had been and the last. I had 15 minutes until it was closing so we was rushing around and an older big guy in a white shirt was being rude counting down the minutes even though they were still letting more customers in. I ended up being unable to buy everything I needed. All the other staff were lovely and telling us not to panic, I normally spend £1000 a month at Makro and thought I'd try Bookers in Kettering instead. I'd rather travel to Leicester than come here again.
Visited for the first time to collect my card. Chris at the front desk was very helpful, polite and welcoming. He showed me around and explained everything I needed to know about being a member.
Absolutely Love this place and the staff!! I use a couple of suppliers for work and I'm fortunate that Booker Kettering is one of them. Throughout lockdowns, and in more recent times supply issues they have all worked tirelessly to provide the best possible service. The staff are so busy, restocking where possible, serving and advising. They've put up with an awful lot and still smiling and helping! We are very lucky they are here to support so many local businesses.
