The sales they have are great and books not on sale are averagely priced, not really cheaper than other places but at least on par. It's always super busy and staff are usually unable to help much because of this but when i have asked they've never said no. They have a whole collection of really beautiful classic novels and anthologys in hardbacks too which I adore and am slowly collecting, usually $20 or 2 for $30 I think.
As regular customers with my kiddo, we are always happy with the staff that assist us with purchases and back orders. Very helpful and friendly team
Horrible customer service. Was in this store few times , last time was the worst. 3 staff members behind the register, with no customers waiting . We’re very reluctant to help , I have spent so much time looking for a particular author, and they kept chatting instead of assisting me . Will never go back to this store

Northland store staff were great with there service
Super helpful staff and really friendly and knowledgeable. If they don't have a book in stock they go out of their way to get it into the store for customers.
Had called up the store yesterday and asked for an order to be shipped to me since my suburb which is only 20 minutes away Fawkner is in lockdown. I was surprised and happy to receive my order today! I had expected delays due to the virus I would recommend this store to anyone book shopping. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable! My #1 shop for buying books.
Good variety of titles, nice staff. Always have something on sale here
Great range of books
People who work there are lovely and the books are cheap. My only issue is that the store has no air-conditioning
