Very helpful and friendly staff a good selection of books
Terrific place to donate your unwanted books, DVDs and CDs. The place is extremely well organised with books in relevant and easy to find categories. You are allowed to take a maximum of 3 books a day. It relies on unpaid volunteers to run it, and needs donations for your items to keep open, so give generously what you can afford.
Wonderful staff and a great place for hidden book treasures!
Went today for the first time, the one in Wigan town centre is closed apparently they’re moving that to Leigh so can’t wait! and wow, loved it. It’s so nice to be in a bookstore, well organised and such great choice, just a great all round experience. Lovely staff there too, I liked having a chat to them as I was browsing. Shame you can only take 3 books but the reasoning behind it is understandable, had to make some hard choices on what to choose haha! amazing that you can donate what you can afford, Would definitely go out of my way to go back was in the area as I was getting my car serviced can’t wait until the Leigh opens! If you haven’t been I highly recommend it, nice walking up on a sunny day too

Book-Cycle is one of the country's best kept gems truly Marvelous for a donation of which you choose you can take 3 books away the choice is amazing and me and my family love going there staff are acomdating and friendly 5
Amazing place could sit for hours reading
Great community hub created in a former public library. Take away up to three books a week in return for a donation, and no pressure over the size of your donation. Nice facility for kids on one side, comfy sofas and chairs dotted about for everyone to relax in, and free tea and coffee while you browse or read. Run by lovely, helpful volunteers and funded by donations. Really felt welcome and comfortable there!
I love Book Cycle. I love the ethos of the work that they do. I love that they are based in an old library building but it's friendly and welcoming. I love that it's run by volunteers. And I love that, for a donation, I can keep the books for as long as I need and then return them for someone else to use.
