Always seems very clean and reasonable prices. I think they change the oil more than a lot of places as it always seems better compared to some places. You can have to wait a while as they don't have much ready to go but on a positive it's always fresh.

Just moved to Ripon and tried Bondgate Fisheries for the first time...best fish and chips ever! They beat our favourites at Saltburn or Skipton with their beautiful fresh fish, lovely light and crispy batter and tasty chips, no greasiness to be found. And you get to have a nice chat whilst it cooks.
Keep going back here, excellent fish and chips, massive portions and quick and friendly service

Absolutely, delicious. The portions were extremely generous. The service was fantastic too, very friendly and welcoming. We definitely recommend.
