According to UK Government issued guidelines nothing is been told about how big groups of people can enter premises. On doors have sign max 5 people in shop not accompanied persons but wasn't allowed to come in with my friend who wanted to buy things too. Instead of waiting for have less customers in shop to accommodate 2 folk going in they totally ignored this my suggestion. Good way of loosing business at this time.
Huge selection of Polish food, including meat and cheese counter. Sweets section and massive amounts of pickles, sauces and canned goods. Was a bit disappointed that there was no freshly made bread on a Sunday morning but otherwise fabulous. As a German I recognised a lot of items that would be otherwise difficult to come by.
I waited for ages in the cue and then another assistant appeared since the first was busy with a customer and served the lady behind me first because she was Polish when I pointed out the situation she didn’t even apologies or explain. If the same thing had happened in a British shop there would be an out cry and condemnation I can categorically state over thirty years born and bred living here that I’ve never experienced this in a British shop.
Fantastic, very good quality food from Poland, organic, untouched by GMO or chemical conservants. There are things that you cannot buy in other shops, apart from beef. You can pay by card. Airconditioned and cool traditional service.
The best Polish shop in Edinburgh. Hudge stock. Sweets, sauces, diry products, meet, alcohol etc. Located at Clerk street few minutes from city center. Plenty buses or if you got a car just park at front door on street. Everything it's fresh, shop is always clean and tidy and stuff very friendly and helpful
A little more expensive than other Polish shops. Huge range of products.
Good place with wide range of choices. The main issue is price level that are quite often very much elevated. Another thing is the lack of parking place around the shop. Other than that it could be OK.
Really great deli and has all the stuff an Eastern European needs! Still missing some of my Ukrainian goodies but it is a polish deli so I can't complain.
Great selection of Polish teas, both with & without caffeine. Loads of meats, cheeses & other things, too.
Don't even approach the discounted section near the counter. Products way past their expire dates months. This goes for meat snacks as well. otherwise cheap, clean and well supplied.
