We had the most amazing meal tonight. The order was perfect, the chicken korma was particularly tasty. Well done to Ashish and the chefs of Bombay Pantry Rathmines. 5 star all the way.
Hello everyone, as per my everytime experience bombay pantry rathmines is the only best Indian take away in dublin for indian food .i suggeste it to everyone if anyone want to get tasty and healthy option in rathmines for Indian food. I love it .
This place is a big let down I would say. Yes I mean it. While Ordering I had insisted them to make all the dishes spicy but they never followed what we had asked. For starters we had ordered Batata Vada - Nothing but potato masala deep fried in besan batter with side of tamarind chutney. Very bland in taste. Lacks the snack or starter effect. Main course - Garlic naan , Garlic and Coriander naan, Paneer tikka masala and vegetable Biriyani. The naan is okay but very thick compared to the actual Indian ones. I couldn’t actually taste the garlic in the naan which is again a great let down. Biriyani is the worst disappointment of all. It’s seems to be a curry of vegetable mixed rice and it’s made of sweet potatoes , par boiled broccoliseems like not boiled at all , cauliflower, lots of peas and green beans.who makes Biriyani with vegetables items!. Also the garam masala added in the Biriyani is very overpowering the dish itself. Panner Tikka masala isn’t as per its name. It’s just plainly grilled panner mixed along with some Chinese masala.so bad. The overall bill was 32.45 Euros which is not worth at all. I would not surely go back to this place. Total disappointment. And they are actually spoiling the Indian cuisine.
We ordered a family take away meal on 20/02/2022 to celebrate a birthday and all 5 of us were very happy with our meals. Each meal was prepared with exactly the amount of spice we ordered, fresh and very tasty. I will be a returning customer and also recommending Bombay pantry in Rathmines to family and friends.
By far the tastiest Indian takeaway we've had. We have tried most items on the menu and every meal is always as good as the last, sometimes better. Staff are really friendly to deal with and provide excellent food and great sized portions. I would strongly recommend to anybody. Thanks guys.
I've been ordering from Bombay Pantry for over 10 years now and it never disappoints. The butter masala and housewives choice in particular are fantastic, we always order the Bombay deal for 2 and it's a great amount of food, they have a loyalty programme too when you order online. It's my number one take away in Dublin, great food and great staff!
Bought some snacks from this outlet i.e. samosas and batata vada. It was like eating cardboard. Neither of them were crispy like they are supposed to be. But the worst part was the snacks were tasteless & bland. Let alone there was no spice but also no salt! Even for my Irish friends it qas bland soggy snacks. Opposite of what samosa and batata vada is supposed to be!
Hi, I ordered last night. I ordered two chicken Tikkas, two rice's and Naan bread. I have never had such a bad Chicken tikka in my life. I rang and told them, that the sauce was over cooked and tasteless. The man told me to come back down and they gave me a new order, which I was happy with but it was the same over cooked chicken tikka and tasteless. On top of this, the Naan bread was burnt one side and the dough wasn't cooked on the other. WILL NOT BE BACK. a waste of €30+
Very slow, took 1.5 hours for my delivery to arrive. Naan bhajis masala fries and cauliflower wings were cold. Food is always delicious and good quality but not great cold. Bombay pantry has been my go to take away for over 5 years but the last few times it has been disappointing mostly due to the delivery time. 3 calls from the delivery driver spent >5 mins in total on the phone. Addendum: I received a call from the manager who has apologised and explained the driver was new. The food here is always delicious.
I regret to say that I will no longer be ordering from Bombay after multiple disappointing meals. Perhaps the takeaway is under new management but standards have dropped and portions have decreased considerably in recent times. The Peshwari naan lacked fillings and was much smaller, korma sauce was watery and very plain and the portion of masala fries have halved but the price of the offering remains the same which I believe is at the middle to higher end of Indian takeaways. The app also failed to take our order.
