Got take away. Nice food and made in 20 mins. Surprised that our dishes were very spicy when we ordered dishes that are usually mild, but we didn't mind. Only downside was being told to pay cash which we didn't have or bank transfer to a personal account...Feels a bit shifty! Had zero reception so I had to walk down the road to get signal and make the payment. Prob a tax dodge, Card machine rates are so low these days, just add it to the price rather than inconveniencing every customer!
Well, walked in lovely greeting, then never saw the waiter again just watched her on the phone talking on personal call. Food very below average. Presentation shocking. Delivery shocking. Vinegar bottle was full of grease and looked like it been around for 100years. Bottled cobra was the best feature after you walk across an empty restaurant to ask for it. Plus a service charge added as standard to the bill. Come on Joe your the only restaurant in the centre of village you could be a great place but sorry your not.
Excellent front-of-house service and spotless facilities toilets . The food was outstanding – I had the chicken spinach bhuna, which was full of flavour – and the menu offered plenty of choice. Overall, a fantastic dining experience and great value for money.
We have literally just finished a take out from here. There is absolutely nothing we could fault. The man who took our order when we arrived was extremely polite and amusing.nWe had a 30 to 40 minute wait which was more than acceptable given the amount we ordered.nOn our return to pick up the meal, again the staff were extremely polite.nThe food was of high quality and delicious, and the price more than reasonable, and there was also a couple of complimentary items.nI cannot understand the negative comments on here, some people are so hard to please.nThank you for a pleasant meal Bombay Joe's.
Lovely staff, lovely food. The staff couldn’t do more for us, they were so lovely. The food was excellent, best korma we have tasted in years. It was so much better than any other indian as you could tell the food had been cooked for us personally, rather than a large batch that had been sat for ages.
