Awful! Ordered a chicken korma the meat tasted processed like the microwave meals you get and the sauce was all bitty. The rice had dark short hairs in it and the onion bhaji was soaked through with grease and it's all you could taste. Had a mouthful and then was sick. Wouldn't recommend!
Had an excellent meal this evening at Bombay Dynasty. I regularly use this place for takeaway deliveries to the hotel that i usually stay at. The food is always nice, but today I went out to dine with a couple of my fellow work colleagues, and the experience was sooo much better. I had the chicken achari along with seekh kebabs and garlic naan. Both dishes were cooked to perfection! The aroma from the Indian spices used really brought out the mouth-watering flavours. The presentation of the food was also splendid and of top-notch Mitchelin quality! The service was excellent and the chef was none other than the mayor himself. Really struggling to come up with any criticisms, if any! The prices were also set right and actually you get excellent value for money in relation to the quality of the food and the exemplary service. I would definitely be coming back and also highly recommend this restaurant. High quality and full stars!!
Great place with a great food. My visit there was amazing. Whatever we ordered with friend was prepared quickly and was just brilliant. Next time I am in Corby I have to come back to this place.
Table service was poor no manners apart from the girl with dark hair who works there. Ordered a drink and popadoms to start and after 20 mins the manager came over and said you want drinks or what. We said yes we ordered them 20 mins ago. The guy who came to take our order came to us and said “yeh”. No customer service The starter was nice but the Bombay Aloo awful and the curry’s were nothing special. No tip was left due to poor service. I will NOT be returning here again.
A plate of congealed blood and the worst customer service I've ever experienced. The blonde girl that works here deserves to be sacked, turning a simple customer complaint into a personal attack. She clearly has a big chip on her shoulder, thinking that when a customer says "unacceptable service" it warrants a overtly personal and angry response. Even when another member of staff tried her best to resolve the problem, this girl just couldn't stop herself coming back to throw angry insults over my shoulder. The meal I bought from Bombay Dynasty the previous weekend was inedible. It took and hour and half to be delivered, it was cold, the naan breads were raw in the middle, the meal itself was the colour of congealed blood, extremely unappetizing, and was supposed to be sweet and sour chicken. Despite being promised that this was a 'no-spice, not hot' option when I ordered it, it was so spicy my eyes and nose were running after just one mouthful. The manager apologized over the phone, quite poorly to be honest because he was too busy and we were clearly taking up his precious time, and quickly offered a free meal "next week"!. We asked if he would put it on his system so there was a record, he said "No need. Just say Mohammed said" and quickly hung up, leaving us hungry and a little cheesed off. So here we are one week later, face to face in the restaurant, the staff refusing to honour the replacement meal because Mohammed is not available and his list of 'promises' can't be found. And instead of a replacement meal my wife and I are now being accused of lying. We then tried asking for a refund instead but this was also refused because they "don't have any money in their till', and then "the manager is not available to authorise a refund", "we don't know how to put it through the till" ?!. They were also unable to contact the boss to clear this whole mess up because he had a 'personal emergency' and instead accused me being insensitive for expecting a Business to honour a replacement meal when members of staff had, what essentially boils down to, a life outside of work. To round it all up, the nasty blonde girl finished the whole thing off with a vile mocking laugh saying "How much was you meal? Is it worth being barred for life for the sake of a £17 refund, because that's what I'm doing.", shouting over the the other member of staff who was in the middle apologizing for her behavior and saying "your a good customer, I remember delivering to you myself", trying her best to repair the damage and explain the situation. This is the second time we've been promised a replacement meal that hasn't been honored - which is why we made a point of asking for it to be put on their system against our names. The manager's "just say Mohammed said" policy has caused us to be accused of lying, accused of trying to scam a free meal, being shouted at, insulted, mocked, embarrassed, being left hungry yet again and threaten with being bared if we didn't accept their response. Certainly not the result I was expecting when I popped in for a meal. Totally abysmal customer service, and it seems that while staff may not have the authority to authorize any form of complaint resolution, they do have the capacity to destroy their owners reputation and bar customers who complain about their treatment, poor food or broken verbal agreements. And lets not forget why this all happened in the first place - a lousy, cold, raw, inedible, blood red, overly spiced meal. Steer clear of this company. They used to have a good reputation but their contempt and suspicion of their Corby customers is evident and they clearly have so many complaints that this prejudices their behavior. It's really not worth the hassle it creates to use them. And they clearly feel they can afford to lose a custom for the sake of keeping that over-priced £17 in their pocket. It seems, with 1 in 4 customers on TripAdvisor rating them poorly, they must feel they would go under if they did honor their refund & replacement promises.
Customers service tonight was not good. They got my order mixed up. So I had to collect it, when I got my food home it was cold. To top it off I did not receive any discount or free Bombay potatoes as promised on my order. A waste of time and money. Would not recommend this restaurant.
My boyfriend and I have both had a takeaway order tonight now im trowing up and he is on the toilet. After calling them i was told - as she is studying it at college - there is no way it can be food poisening as it takes 24 hours so must be something we both ate yesterday. We havent seen eachother since Tuesday. Wont ever order here again and wouldnt advise you to either!
Me and my Fiancée eat here often, the atmosphere is very relaxed and the food and service are excellent for the price, even going as far as to provide complimentary orange slices and warmed hand wipes after the meal at no extra cost. Brilliant Restaurant.
This is by far the best Indian curry house in town! The food is delicious, staff are excellent and friendly and the overall service is 10/10. I would highly reccomend this restaurant.
Working away in Corby, we visit this restaurant every week and the food is always excellent good value for money and the staff are friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend it.
