Castle is very historical with great views all around. Wasn't able to discover gardens neither inside of the castle, however will re-visit post covid.
Lovely walk up to castle from Aysgarth Falls. Well worth paying to look round Castle. Fascinating Cafe is reasonably priced

Amazing day out even during these infectious times..well organised for access and getting around the site. Beautiful old castle and stunning gardens. What an absolute gorgeous location - stunning views for miles and miles. Well worth a visit.
Lovely tea rooms, great birds of prey display and we loved the wild boar when we finally worked out where they were by the car park. Good castle to have a look around. Only took a couple of hours, not sure it's worth the £9 entry but was a nice visit.
this was a great day out, quite a unique experience to see such an intact example of a castle from this period, would.love to see more refurbishment done.
Fantastic place to touch some history. Not only the castle but also the garden give you a sense of live of nobility in the past. Must see. Highly recommended :
