Fantastic local butchers, in addition to the odd steak and hog roast bap, we order 50 burgers from here once a year for my partners birthday BBQ. They always go down a treat and everyone comments on how good they are. My dad the BBQ chef wouldn’t cook anything else, they don’t shrink and are full of tasty beef! The chaps are also really friendly and helpful....couldn’t recommend more highly!
I went in today 29/06/23 and asked for steak or pure beef, no fat and asked if they could mince it for me. The guy said they had offcuts already minced. I repeated that I just wanted pure beef or steak and asked if that can be minced. The guy went out the back and said ‘she’s a twat’. It’s a horrible experience to go somewhere to get called names, simply for asking for something specific. I wasn’t even shopping for myself but for someone who needed it. Disappointing.
Just had a hog roast for a combined birthday party of 20 people. The pork was exquisite, bread rolls were soft, apple sauce and stuffing excellent. Will definitely do this again! Thanks Dave!
Very friendly butchers with really good quality meat. A good choice of sausages, lovely chicken skewers & other BBQ meats & kebabs. Good range of cooked pies too.
Lovely staff. Very helpful. Lovely meat. The best sausages in the midlands in my opinion. Well worth a try Go on a Saturday and try the lovely Pork baps They're delicious.
Some of the best quality meats and produce for miles around. We stopped buying the sub-standard supermarket meats over a year ago and haven't looked back. Really friendly and helpful people running the place too.
