It was a great tour with our guide, Mr Robin. He was knowledgeable and explained the history in a lively way.nnThe library itself was very nice too. It’s impressed how the books still keeping good for such a long time.
The Bodleian Library in Oxford is a stunning and historic hub of knowledge, perfect for book lovers and history buffs. It’s one of the oldest libraries in Europe, with origins dating back to the 14th century and is also one of the largest libraries in the United Kingdom. Its grand architecture and vast collection make it a must-see attraction for visitors to Oxford.
It has many section of ticket that you can purchase.nMany of them are easily sold out so I would recommend to book it before.nTotally feels like you are in Harry Potter . So, please pay a visit here
We had a great tour today with our tour guide Carmen. She gave us a lot of interesting information in a very friendly and considerate way. The group was small and we received an amplifier which made the tour so much more relaxing. The library itself was stunning and a must see for everyone who enjoys old libraries and Harry Potter filming scenes. Make sure to pre-book your tickets online. Otherwise it might be sold out.n4/5 because the ticket is quite pricey with 15 GBP.
Wonderful place full of amazing history. The website stated that all tours were sold out, but you can buy them on the day. The advice we received was that tickets are sold out by 1130hrs, so do it early. The guide was very knowledgeable and easy to follow. We had 14 in our group. They give you a headset to amplify his voice, so it is easy to hear him, even though the guide was quiet in the library. Photos are allowed. There are three lengths of tours, we went for the hour, and it didn't disappoint.
