Went Wild Camping with my dog and a Hammock Tent over the weekend. Had a great relaxing time. The people we crossed paths with even the drunk Young Team were very friendly and pleasant. The scenery and forest walk with my PawPet were fantastic. BRING WATER AND LOTS OF IT! There's nowhere to refill your water bottle or supplies and you'll need a mortgage to buy a few litres out the local laughably overpriced SPAR. The wildlife in the early morning when the tide goes out is a must for bird watchers, during the day you'll see rowing boats to paddle steamers go by. Here's some pics
Lovely little spot for a walk
Lovely wooded area with dog walking areas and picnic tables with metal racks for barbecues. There is a small beach too and some nice walks along the river.
Easy to cycle to or journey with friends that drive or solo on a bike from faufley, clydebank. Lovely small little beach, watch the boats go by and gave a barbecue on.
Really nice place to walk.
The Erskine beach one day in may.
