Don't waste your time! We visited Minster today and having read many favorable reviews about The Boathouse, six of us decided to go and find it for a drink and some lunch. As we arrived, we noticed a member of staff closing the outside shutters up. I asked her if they were actually open and was told that they were closing up as it had been very quiet!!! I couldn't believe it, especially as it was half term AND only 2.15  in the afternoon!!! As we drove out, a family with kids pulled in and then followed us back out and I suspect they weren't the only ones! It's nice to know that there are businesses out there that can afford open and close when they feel like it. It's a pity they fail to mention this on their website! I certainly wouldn't bother again!

Nice little cafe that's rustic but rather appealing too. Limited choice of foods BUT this doesn't really detract from what is a nice place to visit

Great food and good prices for all day breakfast. The car park is a mass of  potholes so be careful.

Great little place to visit, the lake is especially useful as a safe place to practise water activities and a nice cafe too with very reasonable prices 👍
