Disappointed. I’ve been before and have enjoyed the Carvary . Today I met a childhood friend there. We decided to start with the starters. She had the Nachos. I had the messy chips . Within minutes our food was brought out. Obviously microwaved . Her Nachos was over done on the edges with the cheese dry and hard . Mine well, just as bad . The young lad that served us our drinks on arrival was very pleasant. We went and sat in the side room where we thought it would be quite . However there was one female staff that liked the sound of her own voice . She was very loud and did not seem to respect that people who actually dining in there. Her attitude was every body look at me . She may well be a lovely person, so extra training on how to act with etiquette wouldn’t go a miss . I have wrote good reviews before for you guys. So please don’t let this place go down. Regards Caroline

It's a nice place with a nice atmosphere. However I thought the menu was very limited and we were put on a table at the back and forgotten about. We had to keep getting the staff over to order food. Once we got the food, 4 steaks, a kids chicken nuggets and a pie, it was tasty and cooked well. They're a bit stingy with sides.

Nice enough place. A bit draughty by the door. Food ok chips could have been cooked a bit longer as hard in centre and mushy peas just about warm. But the cheese and onion pie was delicious so that made up for the other bits. X

Food was ok. No peas with a steak though. What's that all about? Just got chips a mushroom and half of a tomato. The plate only looked half full. We were sat near the toilets where the staff didn't seem to want to venture near which was a bit annoying as we had to keep shouting him when we wanted to order our food. We were served by Rick who was pleasant and helpful 👍

Went to boat &horses last night for a birthday party, the place where thay put us was cold we asked them twice to the heating on nothing happend, I ordered cheese & onion pie what thay brought me was a childs portion , I asked for a bigger portion and thay said you cant be cause thats the SPECK for the pie: people dont go its a con, hated it
