Never had a good experience at this place. When they sold us the car the salesman that what if we showed loyalty to the brand, they’d look after us. We should have walked away then. After all, a brand should create loyalty by looking after its customers. But we went ahead anyway. We’ve needed new tyres twice. Each time they told us the parts were in and waited in the showroom for over an hour for the work to be done, only for them to tell us the parts weren’t in stock. This has happened twice and both times, the manager sent a junior member of staff to come and tell us. And now I’m in the showroom writing this review. Had a break service £700. They phoned me to tell me my car is ready for collection but I’ve been sat here waiting for over half an hour and there’s still no sign of my car. It always feels like my time is there’s to waste. This dealership is a joke, I wouldn’t ever have another car from them.
Had an issue regarding my just under 3 year old BMW and thus still under warranty. Initially I was not happy with the service I received, but on speaking to Jason the service manager, my faith has been restored in Soper. Issues all resolved and he has gone the extra mile in sorting things for me, so a big thank you.
The best car purchasing experience I have had. I purchased an approved used BMW from Soper of Lincoln. The pre sales service was excellent, everything was made so straight forwards for me. A video tour of the car was sent to me, they gave me a good price for my part x, and explained how the sale would work going forwards. I discovered the car had a couple of minor niggles, Soper honestly couldn't of been more helpful in resolving the issues. Fantastic communication, even contacting me on their day off. Thanks Antony! They went above and beyond and really pulled out all of the stops to make both my pre and after sales experience top notch. Really appreciated and thank you Soper of Lincoln !
Top quality dealership, tried a few and Sopers is one of, if not the best, fantastic range of vehicles on display and great parking, staff all very polite and professional, it’s not my nearest BMW/Mini dealer but I will always travel the extra distance to use them
Had many cars from many main dealers but few made it as easy as Soper. Matthew the sales guy I dealt with was excellent. The car isn’t perfect but great condition for the age. Really pleased with the car, the service and it felt like they cared more about making the customer happy then £1 or £2. Would recommend this dealership.
My frustration with Soper of Lincoln BMW knows no bounds! Every time I step into that place for a service, it's like entering a den of deception. They shamelessly tried to swindle me out of £2,000 for pointless services, including wheel shine restoration, windshield replacement, and tire changes on brand-new tires. Their audacity to claim my car was unfit for the road without these bogus repairs is downright infuriating! It's a shame they prioritize deceit over genuine customer service.
We came across Sopher Of Lincoln when we were searching online for a second-hand, nearly-new MINI Cooper. We contacted the dealer, and they got back to us pretty quickly. In response to some questions about the car, David, who worked out a nice price reduction, organised a walk-around video to be created. This video showed us the inside and outside of the car, along with some of its functions in great detail. My partner and I were suitably sure that we wanted to purchase the MINI after watching the video several times, and we spoke to David, who worked out a nice price reduction. Once we had committed, we paid only a £2000 deposit, and documents were sent using online signing and emails. Additionally, David had worked out a fair part-exchange deal for our Astra SRI. We had first arranged that we would go to Lincoln to collect the new MINI, but as our days were looking busy, we asked about delivery to us in Watford. David arranged for a driver, who was a great guy by the way, to drive it down to us and take the Astra back. This worked out really well. While the vehicle was on its way, David also activated the Mini Connect app so we could see the vehicle's progress. This helped make the delivery experience really special. My partner was very happy about her new vehicle and loves driving. This great experience was in direct contrast to our experience when we tried to buy a similar Mini a few weeks prior. This was a poor experience as something wrong was spotted with that car on its delivery inspection good, but information about resolution and delivery was sparse and unclear. Even though I got a full refund pretty quickly, it was a sour experience. So, I fully recommend buying your next BMW car from Sopher as I feel the customer service was great, feedback and questions were answered quickly, and we got a great deal, including service, MTO, and warranties. First time purchasing a car from Soper and what excellent service it was, from start to finish the customer care was exceptional from Antony who guided us through everything smoothly. big thanks to Jack also for picking me up to collect my new M4.
Do not use!!! First time I have had a service! There was a recall and now they have had my car the entire week but tell me they can’t order the part! Not only that but they won’t give me a replacement car! Today I didn’t chase them, I have been doing so all week it is costing me a fortune to hire a car and who pays for thst? Certainly not BMW! because the lady promised me a car! NO CAR! AVOID THIS DEALER! absolutely the most disgusting service I have ever experienced! I want my car back! I won’t be using this garage again! The fact I am without a car and they cannot even be bothered to let me know why I still do not have a replacement just annoys me to the point I am writing this!
I am leaving this review due to poor customer service from BMW Soper and from a particular used car manager. I am based in Manchester and I was looking for a used BMW 330D with low mileage using the online BMW used car website. I was happy to travel across the country to purchase the car if I found the right vehicle. Soper had the vehicle that I had been looking for, sent me a video of the car detailing it had no body work damage/no interior damage and it was good as new and the video reflected this as it was a generic overview of the car Not too detailed. So I travelled over to Lincoln to purchase the vehicle after paying a deposit. Arriving at Soper, I viewed the car and straight away I noticed three small chips on the bonnet couldn’t be polished out and the cream interior & seatbelts had orange and black marks on… I wasn’t overly impressed as the video stated immaculate condition and I believe they should’ve of shown these defects within the video. As I made the three hour trip and the mileage was very low on the car and I could live with these defects, I completed the transaction. After cleaning the car, I had noticed numerous scratches around the car that they had tried to remediate by buffing out the car. As you can see in the images, the buffing off the car is probably one of the worst jobs I have ever seen on a vehicle. I took it to a car detailing professional and he described it as a “Stevie Wonder Job” – please see attached the image. I spoke to a used car manager at Soper and he said that he wasn’t impressed with the buffing job and would offer £100 for me to get the car rebuffed. I gained three quotes and all three were in the excess of £600. I thanked the manager for his contribution but stated that I don’t think £100 is sufficient for the poor job created by BMW Soper and for the quotes I am receiving. I stated that I wouldn’t have accepted the car, if I had seen this poor buffing job on the day but due to the weather being overcast you could not see the poor buffing job. I did email the manager stating that I would ask for quotes for just the bonnet & boot as this is where the parts of the car is very poor. I don’t think this is an unreasonable request to ask for the job to be covered due to the very poor job BMW Soper completed originally. I didn’t want to write this review but the used car manager isn’t replying to my emails and does not want to resolve the issue, so I felt like I had no choice. I’ve also read a number of Soper reviews on Google and it sounds like a lot of people have had similar issues… Don’t forget to read reviews like me!! I hope to get this resolved.
