This restaurant has the best coffee in Andover, I have been drinking it there for years. It is not only the coffee, the food is delicious as well. The staff are always happy and treat most customers like they were family. In fact they know all about my family's ups and downs as I know their's. If you are looking to make friends in the town this would be a good place to start.
Just a quick coffee - and coffee was good, reasonably priced. Service was prompt and friendly. Spacious seating area and easy to get seated. Sandwich menu looks extensive although I had nothing to eat, I'll certainly return sometime.Service: 5/5
Ok, where to begin? Ordered a steak baguette, menu said it came with potato chips and coleslaw, also ordered a mars bar thick shake from the unfriendly unsmiling grunting women from behind the counter. Milk shake came and was the furthest thing from thick, basically milk flavoured with chocolate powder could taste the dry powder. Then the steak baguette came, the baguette was standard par baked you get from the supermarket but I guess they forgot to par cook it. Steak was just pure tough as boots gristle and the potato chips were supermarket own flavourless cheap tortilla chips made from corn starch not potatoes and the coleslaw was the cheap bought stuff, the sort that looks like it’s coated in some sort of white phlegm. Over all maximum profit minimum effort.
So......the decaf tea was nice, as is the decor. Unfortunately, the food is absolutely diabolical. Meat unbelievably over done, soft tasteless bread "focaccia", cheap coleslaw, basic corn chips, cold beans, cheap sausages and bacon, soggy toast.....and extremely over priced. Avoid at all costs, or at least eat before you leave the house.
Great place. Able to sit outside and watch the world go by which is always entertaining in Andover Reasonable prices, perfect chips. Exceptionally friendly staff. Highly dog friendly too which is always a bonus.
Came here for a catch up with some old work colleagues, very nice and cosy in the place. Coffee here is always lovely and spot on
Very reasonable food and always prompt to the table, food is fresh and tasty. Coffee made to order, strength ok, taste is good. * very busy this morning but still quick food service
The workers are absolutely wonderful. Even got a cheeky discount by the cashier I think it was. Everyone there is wonderful and it's also very cleanFood: 4/5
Staff friendly. Food looks good. My 2 friends ordered food together, but they waited a long time for the food to arrive, poached egg on toast eggs were hardtook over 20mins and the baked potato took over half an hour to arrive, would have been better if they'd arrived at the same time, so they could eat together? Maybe new staff, or short staffed??
