I really loved my night at Bluebird, I don't really have a complaint about anything. If you're looking for a nice dinner that's got great food, a good atmosphere, and isn't too pretentious then I think this is a great spot. Special shout out to our server Will who was incredible, super friendly, knowledgeable and gave great recommendations. We opted for the steak of the day for mains which effectively was steak frites and was delicious. The potato leak soup was unbelievable and is a must, and the white chocolate egg dessert was fantastic as well. Will definitely be coming back!
Yummy food in a beautiful setting - loved the spicy salmon tartare, the truffle mash, and the vegetarian curry. The ambiance is nice and refined. Unfortunately service was a complete miss for us - our server was a bit standoffish for no apparent reason, the food took a while to come out, and they took forever to bring the bill and then the card machine despite asking a few times. Overall it’s a good place and I’d like to come back, hopefully with a better service experience.
The salmon here is absolutely outstanding – truly the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor, it really shows the chef’s skill and attention to detail. If you love salmon, this place sets a new standard!
A spacious restaurant with a very good decoration but the food was average and expensive compared to allow other similar in the are.nThe worst of all at least today was the service. Our waiter was exceptional but something was wrong in the kitchen. Although at the time we have been there almost half of the takes were free or under reservation however it took more than 20 minutes to serve us even when we asked for additional drink.
Coming to Bluebird was a great experience from start to finish. The ambiance was vibrant yet relaxed, making it a perfect spot for both casual outings and special occasions. One of the first things we noticed was how warm and welcoming the staff were—friendly, attentive, and professional. The service was truly top-notch, easily a 10/10.nnWe appreciated the flexibility of having both indoor and outdoor seating options, which is always a plus depending on the weather. We chose to sit outdoor this time as the weather was lovely plus they had the heaters on .nnFor our meal, we ordered a beautifully cooked salmon dish and a plate of gnocchi. Both dishes were excellent—flavorful, well-presented, and satisfying. The portion sizes were just right, leaving us room to try dessert. We couldn’t resist ordering one to share, and it turned out to be a great decision—the dessert was absolutely delicious and provided the perfect end to our meal.nnGiven the central location and the high quality of food and service, we found the prices to be quite reasonable. We paid roughly £90 in total, which included a beer and a cider.nnWe’d definitely come back again and would recommend Bluebird to others!
