I have worked for Bluebird Care for over 5 years now as the community mental health nurse and I have not looked back.  I am really proud of our carers and our team withncomplex mental health. Additionally, I also represent  the LD/Autism  and SEN children support teams and would recommend anyone looking for care and support to contact us.

I just wanted to say thank you so much to Sandra, clinical lead, at Bluebird Care Colchester. As the Registered Manager of Bluebird Care of Essex West, Sandra was so supportive when we faced a complex situation that required clinical knowledge. We were struggling to get support and guidance elsewhere but Sandra’s advice and support with this matter, was more than I could have ever asked and for that, we are very grateful.

We started using bluebird after my mum had a stroke in 2019. We’d had problems with the first care company we used in Colchester but never looked back after being recommended Bluebird.nnMy mum was so well looked after by all her carers from Bluebird. They were all so well trained, kind, caring and would go the extra mile to make sure my mum was happy and comfortable.nnWhat is great about Bluebird is they try to give you the same carers each week where possible. This meant my mum built lovely friendships with the carers she had regularly.nnI moved in with my parents through lockdown and I would even hear my mum laughing and joking with her carer each morning. It was lovely and something I don’t think you get everywhere.nnThe office staff are also very professional. If ever there was an issue to discuss, I felt listened to and it was always resolved and dealt with promptly.nnI can’t recommend Bluebird more highly to anyone looking for help for loved ones.nnMy mum just moved to a care-home and we all miss the staff at Bluebird.
