Hadn't been here in year's! £6 an adult so not too expensive for a trip out. We did the longest walk on the map which didn't take that long about an hour and half and included the farm. Although quite busy when you go on the longer route it thinned out. We stopped off at the cafe after, nice selection of homemade cakes and again very reasonable. The bluebells were stunning and smelt gorgeous. A nice outing for all the family including furry one's. We saw lot's of woofers having a great time skipping through the grass.
Superb woods, well kept with good information at strategic points on flora and wildlife. It’s open in April to mid-May for the bluebells, entrance fee paid by card or cash. Mobility scooters and path available along with lots of tags for rambling, some of which run through bluebells. Dogs and kids were kept on the paths, as there were lots of notices about damage done by people trampling bluebells they don’t flower again if you do Generous parking, with space for picnics. Or, there’s the volunteer-run café with second hand books, plants and handmade goods. The day we were there, there was a person crafting trugs. There’s a more formal garden which has a separate entrance fee.
Lovely walking trails. The bluebells are gorgeous - it's so peaceful and relaxing to stroll around. You're not allowed to eat food on the walking trails, but there are picnic benches at the entrance.
Get to this venue before the middle of May to see the most awesome bluebells. Structured walkways with walk routes all mapped out. Lots of rest spots along the way too. A lovely friendly cafe too.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Spectacular views of the bluebells and terrific access and support for disabled visitors. It was busy when we went but there was still plenty of personal space on the walks. First class!Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot sure
