Nice & cozy place to meet up with friends for a drink. Couple of fine quotes on the walls from Robert Burns. The place wears it's years well built around 1700.
Lovely owner to serve local beers in a very traditional environment and friendly crowd.
Excellent old pub and the lady behind the bar was very kind and helpful.
The Blue Bell never fails to impress, a wonderful smile always awaits from the fabulous bar staff and a perfect pint pulled every time. There's always a friendly local to chat too and the ambience and history of the old place ouses out from every corner. There is a great wee sun trap in the courtyard, a piece of countryside in an urban setting.
On a visit to Annan doing family research and went to the Blue Bell Inn as the building had been owned by my great x3 grandfather 200 years ago. A nostalgic visit but it turns our the pub is very nice experience: good beer and cider. Next time in Annan, I'll return for a pint.
One of the quite pubs in town, by this I mean that the music isn't so loud you can't hear yourself think! There is a good selection of Whisky and Gin as well as other sprirts but these are the two you need to have a same of, chat to the staff too, they know what to recommend! Enjoy

Welcoming pub with a good selection of real ales which can be hard to find in west scotland. Worth a visit if passing through, would be five stars if there was a nice pie to go with the great beer:
