Great atmosphere and lovely food and the service was as attentive as can be :
Excellent food, with excellent service. I cant praise this restaurant enough. First time back there in a while but outstanding in every way. Reasonably priced and fantastic food.
Spur of the moment midweek lunch. We were regulars at this restaurant when it opened originally but had not enjoyed it so much since it changed hands so haven't been for a few years. Recently heard some good feedback so decided to give it another go and we were not disappointed. Food was very good and service, particularly from David the assistant manager, was impeccable. We will definitely a return soon for the a la carte menu.
Had taster menu and never again. How do they have the nerve to put such a small amount of food on the plate for the price they charge. Thought the main meal may be a normal porton but no two small pieces of fish on top of one small potato and some runny curry. Left still feeling hungry. So glad we didn't choose taster menu wines as this may have only been two drips in a glass. Never going back.
Gary and I visited last night. The food was fantastic. The service was fantastic and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing as always. We were happy to say that through bluebell is still one of our favourite places to eat. Thank you. X
'Tasting menu' ...one expects to be blown away when getting tiny amounts. It didn't happen. Staff come across as snobby, but not deserving of being Snobby when food is not good. Pork belly dry and awful. 1 inch x 1 inch in size! Cod mains very bland and supposed to have muscles with it ..was 'spot the muscle', and some guests had none. I could go on..suffice to say the offer was 50 for two instead of 100 ...wasn't worth 10 let alone 50. Never again.
We went here for the first time on Saturday and absolutely loved it.Great ambiance with soft lighting, friendly staff and great food. It's definitely going to be a regular place for us now.
Had the Rotary Club meal here. Beautiful service. Good hearty food prepared in the best of ways. Will surely head back again soon.
Service let this restaurant down, have not been here for a long time and had very fond memories of the Bluebell. The food is still of a very good quality, however the service fell short of what is expected.
Tried the six course taster menu last night Tuesday 2nd August. EXCELLENT. Great food and first class service, thoroughly recommended.
