Found this Indian whilst looking somewhere to eat on a night away. Did a good job in fitting 2 of us in during a very busy Saturday night. Took order for drinks and poppadoms quickly, but seemed to forget about us and took nearly an hour to take or food order. Once the food arrived it was.hot and we'll presented. Order was a vegetarian dupiaza and a chicken bhuna. I know not all Indian restaurants have the same recipes but these 2 simple dishes tasted odd, like too much tamarind or something. It wasn't unpleasant but a weird taste. May try again earlier and try a different dish if in Llandudno again,.but may be better out there. Watch out for the added service charge. On my case it wasn't too much but lots of customers were asking for it to be taken off.
One of the nicest resteraunts I've been to full stop, the cauliflower bhaji in particular was excellent and the staff were great. To give an idea of how much I like it, I'm writing this review as I'm still eating - I just had to log on mid-meal and give it 5 stars.
Absolutely delicious and amazing service. Super pleasant and helpful staff, lovely atmosphere. I'm going to be thinking about this food for a long time.
I wouldn't bother. Delivered to the wrong address, so we had to pick it up from a neighbour. Half full tubs of sauce with the yogurt, chutney and oinions literally not enough for one poppadom, soggy chips, burnt oinion bhaji, tasteless starters, unbelievably oily curry. Waste of £30!
Food was gorgeous and a great sea view. Staff were lovely and the service was brilliant.
Enjoyed a evening at Blue Elephant with my family. We was greeted by the staff members with a friendly approach upon entrance and seen to our table. The food was outstanding and was cooked to perfection. The taste of the food was 10/10. The restaurant appeared to be very clean as was the toilets. The staff at this restaurant was very accommodating and nothing was of an issue. I would recommend Blue Elephant.
The starters let a rather good meal down. The starters were OK, but slightly bland. The main courses were very good. A little bit more attention and it would be superb. As a family, we have eaten a good few times in Asian restaurants and feel we have a reasonable palette.
Had a fabulous meal at The Blue Elephant. The staff were really attentive and made sure we taken care of the whole evening. The food was delicious. It was really hard to decide on what to go for as their menu had a large variety of dishes. I was not disappointed with what I went for. The portion sizes were great, we had plenty to share around the table. We were also given some little chocolate mints with our bill which was also a nice touch. All in all, I had a great meal here. Sadly, I live on Anglesey otherwise this would be my go-to Indian restaurant! I'll definitely be coming here again when I am in Llandudno next. :
This visit was so good, it appears to be a family run restaurant, the food was lovely and the best curry I have had in Llandudno. I would say it's worth booking to ensure a table. The restaurant is upstairs but they do have a stair lift for the less able.
Had a great family meal tonight with our two children 7+9 who both enjoyed it as much as we did. Great service very attentive and genuinely nice people. Food was very nice no complaints at all
