A very comfortable atmosphere with our group. Wonderful live entertainment by a sold singer who sang group favourites of their time.
I was here for a birthday party and can't comment on everyday service. That said, the menu for lunch was pretty varied. The food was well presented and delicious. The service was good too and the staff very helpful. Being on Bushey High Street parking is not easy but there is a car park 200 to 300 yards away. Definitely worth a visit.
Really lovely restaurant in Bushey, the service is amazing, friendly and helpful staff, if there is anything they can do to make your visit better they will. The food was tasty, we received our meals quickly, the bar was well stocked. Plenty of space around the table, a nice dancefloor, played good dance tunes. I haven't been here in a while but will definitely go back and suggest to others. Vegetarian options: Good veggie options, lovely cauliflower starter, the cannelloni was great.
Excellent service and food reasonably priced. The reason I did not give 5 stars was as the restaurant was full it was very noisy to my liking. However will come back again as thoroughly enjoyed the evening with friends.Food: 5/5

David and his amazing team at THE BLUE CHECK Restaurant in Bushey Hertfordshire have done it again…….! We cannot thank them enough for the truly amazing 30th birthday party they put on for us recently They truly are a VERY VERY special venue and always give us pure excellence in every way possible The venue, the menu, the ambience and the satisfaction are consistent time after time THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts
We had a good time eating there for my Mum's birthday.The food is Excellent,relaxing atmosphere and a very good service.l recommended this place for a special occasion,Birthday or just fancy having some food there.Food: 5/5
Diabolical behaviour in this establishment last night. Our Christmas works party of 12. Greeted by a frosty waitress demanding we order quickly. Literally standing over my nurses, yes we work for the NHS demanding they order now, quickly.....beyond rude. Food was ok apart from several items not available as had sold out. This by the way is a Thursday night Christmas party in a empty restaurant with 3 other table and they've run out of items on the menu. The background music, not festive at all, a compilation of 70s/80s you'd hear in a supermarket. I asked after listening to this for over 1.5 hour could we have some Christmas music please. "You wait" came the reply, its not only you lot in here. Charming!.. you're right it wasn't only "us lot" whatever that meant in here? Were we any less worthy than the 3 other tables of very elderly people, probably regulars who were also there? Either way that didn't matter. It was the extremely rude manner in which we were all spoken to and treated. The DJ which was promised on the night was the rude proprietor David. I wasn't waiting around for that. I paid and left as soon as I could. My other colleagues decided to stay and make the most of the evening. It gets better. They were hassled to pay the bill. Why? They weren't leaving. It wasn't the end of the night? How dare you. I'd say in my sum up "The Blue Check Restaurant" is best past its sell by date. What used to be a good place to party and have fun is no longer. My son summed it up perfectly he works near there... I've never seen it busy in there, always empty. I doubt it will be there this time next year. Whether it will be or not I will never step foot in there again. Shame on you.
Fantastic evening spent at Blue Check for a 40th birthday party. The food, staff or the service were all excellent and it is such the venue is really well decorated with a lovely atmosphere. This is the second big birthday we have had here and will definatly be back for one of their entertainment evenings. All of our guests thought it was fantastic. Thankyou Blue check. Keep doing what you are doing.
