Had King Prawn curry and special fried rice. Food was very good as usual however I was concerned that the tin trays were smaller.

Nice food but becoming very expensive. Have increased their prices and have now added a £2 delivery charge even though we live in the same town. Delivery took over an hour to arrive. Missing sweet and sour sauce with the chicken balls second time in a row for us. Not good enough when nearly paying £40 for a takeaway for just 2 people!!!!
Waited nearly two hours for delivery. This was the worst Chinese meal we have ever had. Very disappointing as we had friends around for this takeaway which cost £66. The whole meal was cold, the chow main was so stodgy you couldn’t separate it. The duck in plum sauce was not what we ordered, we received something that we had no clue what it was but it tasted like a king po dish, also not very nice had we ordered king po! The children’s chips were cold and dried up, the sweet and sour chicken balls were cold and very greasy. The bbq sauce was like thin tasteless gravy. It was absolutely awful, most of it went in the bin. I will never order from this Chinese again. I did call to complain but they just said sorry that it was unusual and would investigate with the kitchen and call back. No call back received.
Oh my waited over 2 hours the food was one of the worst Chinese I have seen and tasted - most of it went in the bin. The Lemon chicken was cold over battered full of batter the lemon sauce was runny and the sweet and sour chicken balls were greasy - the salt and pepper ribs didn’t taste of nothing - I was given a carton of apple juice for compensation for waiting too long. I will never get another takeaway from here.
Worst chinese ever eaten chicken chowmien tasteless and over cooked stodgy noodles fried rice dry and tasteless looked like boild rice kung po chicken no sauce or cashew nuts let alone a kick to it it was tasteless as well pancake rolls very greasy and full of carrots and bean sprouts would definitely not recommend and won't be ordering again
Was my favourite Chinese in Halstead, I used to order every weekend. Now been taken over by someone else, and the price I paid for our my last meal was ridiculous, and it was in the smallest sized containers, sadly not been back since, and won't now!!!
Very good Chinese... Eaten here a few times now and never been disappointed overall. A couple of dishes are a little too dry such as Chow mein, noodles and rice... But flavours are decent and portion sizes are very good. Need 4 people to eat their mix starter and special rices dishes alone as they come in large round containers not the slightly larger rectangular ones. So you're definitely getting alot of food for your money!
Always perfect! Service is quick, food is amazing and so cheap for the quality and quantity you receive. I try to have something different from the menu every time we go and always enjoy whatever I order!
Really good king prawn chow mein. Friendly staff. Will order again.
