ST Lukes this building is done modern style style the church build next to old St Lukes school. This church also has casket of the bones of ST Valintines. Yes folks Feb 14th St Valintines Day if your visiting the city pop in check out St Lukes in Gorbals.
Heartwarming place to go to you feel the presence of the Angels. Everyone here works hard for those who attend . You can feel Gods love and you can easily talk to the priests. The devotions to Saint Anthony are beautiful and something not to be missed on the 13 June is his feast day we’re people come together from near and far for blessings of the lily s for the sick and it’s a wonderful experience the novena starts on the 4 rth for 9 nights every year
There is a relic of St Valentine at this church. It's not visible though as it's locked away in a box. found the people extremely friendly here.
Beautiful church in the heart of the Gorbals, I first visited about ten years ago for the St Antony Novena & Blessing of the Lilies Mass which was breathtaking . Recently attended a funeral of a friend and the service was lovely with some great hymns. Definitely a church that serves its community well.
