Wouldn't stay again. Their dog went to attack me as I walked back from toilets,had to jump out of way. Told owners and they couldn't care less. Didn't feel safe and just left.
A little gem of a site. Calm and peaceful, just what we needed. Good facilities and very reasonable price. Owners very friendly and helpful, and fresh eggs from their chickens was a bonus. Used our bus passes, stop just a short walk away for a trip into Nottingham centre. Will definitely return!
Absolutely rubbish. Sloping pitches, dogs are so annoying sat at my van door 1st thing in a morning. Pond full of weed and not possible to fish. Advertisement says 3 ponds but don't go if you expect to fish them. Would definitely not recommend and won't be returning. Lane around site is full of rubbish like going down to a dumpit site. Watch out for dog mess, they expect you to clean up but I saw several piles of mess presumably from his dogs running loose
A small but perfectly formed site. A little strange, it being an island of green in the middle of an industrial estate, which didn't intrude too much. The lake is only small but well stocked, particular the wide range of Carp that seem to swim around on the surface with the proverbial fingers outstretched. We really enjoyed our all to brief stay.
Very warm welcome. Would definitely stay again. 6 x fresh eggs only £1.00 .clean loos and showers
A great place to relax while camping, showers and toilets are very clean and the staff is very helpful
Great little campsite with fishing lake it's nice & quite here
Second time here very clean site quite nice walks shop not to far away
Looks great hopefully we will visit later this month
