Service good but table was sticky and needed wiping with a hot clean cloth. Looked like they had sprayed it but not wiped it down. We had Sunday Lunch I had the pork wife had the beef. My Pork undercooked chewy and only just warm as was rest of dinner as served on a cold plate. Wife's meal only just warm as well. Would not have sunday lunch there again. They should stick to their cakes and teas.
Just been for Mothers Day afternoon tea a day early. The food was fine, cakes a little hard as though they were originally frozen but nice enough, sandwiches nice and quiche, however the staff were not attentive at all, the atmosphere in the back room we were put in that had no windows was almost non existent.. staff coming and going moaning about their jobs, we won't be back and would not recommend it all.
Food disappointing, Welsh rabit burnt on top not cooked underneath. Turkey bap dry no butter on bap or cranberry sauce just a huge chunk of cold stuffing. Wine back.
Stopped off here for lunch on our way to Llandudno. The shop has a wide range of goods that are reasonably priced. We ordered our lunch at the cafe and the staff were very friendly and helpful . A really nice place to stop off and look round.
I ordered a gluten free toasted sandwich.when it arrived it looked completely unappetising being a drab grey colour. It had not been toasted properly. It tasted even worse than it looked. If you cannot manage a decent gluten version then you should leave it off the menu
Not up to the usual good standard today. My salmon fish cakes were delicious but served with cold chips and a limp side salad. The mustard sauce on the pork dish was lumpy and undercooked.
The best Sunday lunch around. Beef melts in your mouth. Very substantial meal at a very reasonable price. Huge and varied menu. Staff are outstanding and a very relaxed atmosphere. Just love this cafe and the staff.
I've been to Tweedmill for as long as I can remember, for suits, good quality cloths and amazing sale.. The cafe is always a a good place for food , tea and cakes. However I arrived an orded towards the end of the day and it felt like the chefs just lacked passion for creating a dish towards the end of the day. The Welsh rabbit is normally lovely, silky smooth and a hit of mustard. This was burnt bread that was covered with the topping ... That was very well done too hide the burnt bread. This has been the only time the food has been sub standard.. to be fair. Normally a faultless service... From the lovley ladies at the till to the waitress in the café... Sadly let down.
Today four of us went for afternoon tea for my mum's 84th birthday. We were shown to the tea room, our waitress was Jane. She was very attentive, nothing to much trouble, lovely lady. Food looked to good to eat and it was delicious, plenty of it too. We took some home in boxes provided. We will be back
Eight of us went yesterday 16/08/2021 to celebrate my daughters 50th Birthday. I highly recommend these Tea Rooms. The food was excellent, all freshly made and delicious. We cannot thank the wonderful Jane enough for all she did for us. Nothing was too much trouble for her. She is an absolute credit to Blas Clwyd Cafe & Tea Room. Once again thank you
