Visited today for 2 new front tyres ordered online.nTook the car in but came out 10 minutes later to say they had snapped my locking wheel nut key and the piece was now stuck in the wheel bolt.nTried to blame it on the last garage doing the bolts up too tight......would that be using the same locking wheel nut key you've just broken? Does it only take torque one way then?nProbably used an air gun on it but wouldn't admit it.nThen tried to blame me for having not already replaced the locking bolts with normal ones.nNo Apology. Will not be using them again.
Trustworthy, friendly and all round great customer service. I first headed to Blandford Forum’s other Tyre store DCM Tyres, where I was told the tyre on my slow puncture was needing a replacement as it was no good. They then told me within seconds, without properly checking, that the other three tyres were also too far gone and needed doing at the same time, which would cost just under £400 to do. Feeling slightly put off by the unexpected need to do this when I thought the other wheels looked deep enough I thought I’d double check with Blandford Tyres a few minutes up the road. They brought out a proper tool to test the depth of the tread left and informed me my tyres were only 50% worn and were perfectly fine. They inflated the slow puncture and said for me to come back the next day to see if it had gone down at all. The next day I returned and the car tyres were still perfect. They didn’t charge me anything on either day and were incredibly professional, friendly and trustworthy. I’ve used them before but now I will always stick with them as a result. Brilliant staff along with a brilliant service- thank you.
Excellent service with knowledgeable staff. Complete set of summer tyres and tracking on two cars. Previously had a major repair of a winter tyre. These guys know their stuff and that's coming from a tyre geek who drives extensively in the winter in the UK and Europe.
I would like to thank you for a brilliant job it was very good of you to take the time to look after my daughter I know that you were very busy at the time, obviously my daughter was very worried that she was over one hundred miles away from home and she was driving her Dads car you have put her mind at rest and she found a brilliant company like your thank so much for looking after her , I hope that you all have a fantastic new year kind regards Ian Penny and family
Had a flat tyre changed here and the staff were very friendly and efficient and a joy to deal with and the price was very reasonable. Will definitely come here again, great service all round.
