Fantastic place. We attended for the birds of prey experience but after that finished we had a walk around all the wonderful shops there and then ate in the restaurant. The birds of prey experience was absolutely amazing and getting to handle the birds was a real honour and privilege. The chap who took us on the experience was incredibly knowledgeable about each of the birds and also of what was going on around the country in relation to them. Absolutely fascinating to listen to him. The birds are well cared for and clean and tidy which was wonderful to see too. In fact after it we purchased another session for our daughter to do this too as a Christmas gift. The shops were varied and very different to usual. There were some amazing crafts to buy and the fair trade shop was great too. Could buy anything from incense sticks to a full dining set. The restaurant was very clean and tidy and had lots of choice. The food was great too. All in all a brilliant day out.

I had great expectations of Blakemere, I was surprised that in the Easter holidays it was very quiet. We went on a lovely sunny day and most of the activities were closed including the toy shop. The only good thing was the shop that sells the crystals def worth a look if you are into that sort of thing, also the cafe was nice. Won't be returning though!

We went for a family carvery which was really nice and worth the price. The food is sourced locally and is delicious. Also there is a little fair grounds, crazy golf and a segue way course, plus lots of independent shops. A nice place to spend an afternoon on a Sunday.

A good place for a visit. Lots for adults and kids including soft play area. Good craft shops and cafe/festaurant. Falconry displays as well as archery and segways etc. Walks in the woodlands and bike hire. Fun place!
