I love it there I go with my family sometimes because Blackwood primary is where my mum works,I love the zip line,also there are different areas like there is a baby area,play park area and outdoor gym equipment it is honestly such a nice park I recommend it.
It's a great park for the local children, there's lots of stuff to do and burn off some energy for an hour.nThe park is split in to 2 with the fenced in toddler park at one end and the bigger apparatus for older children at the other end. There is a small obstacle course in between the two sides along with some picnic benches and grassed area.nUnfortunately, there's a lot of dog muck lying around, especially around the larger park, which doesn't have the fence around it. This is my reason for inly giving 3 stars as this is a safety risk for the children.nThe area is currently quite muddy too, which is transferring on to the slides and climbing frames. Not so bad, if you're prepared to get dirty.
This is our local park. It has had a bit of a makeover in the last few years. It has an enclosed swing park for younger kids. Also a swing park for older kids. At the top it also has an adult outdoor gym. Very popular with children and dog walkers. There are also picnic tables. The swing parks have never been vandalised but the gym area quite often has broken glass. There are no lights in the park so night time is very dark to walk through.
Really good park with equipment covering a wide age range. I managed to park at the primary school which may not be possible during the week. Places for picnics too :
