Blackpool Zoo in a really nice small zoo with a large selection of animals. The Indian Elephants base camp is absolutely fantastic and world class. They have a very good selection of primates from Mountain gorillas and orangutans. The zoo keeps on improving its facilities and animal care.
The animals were lovely well looked after accept for one of the chimpanzees who looked sad the seals were amazing to watch, very cute. The workers were very helpful and kind. The elephants a very large enclosure as big as a primary school which is good since they have a lot of space a lot of animals had a lot of space as well.
Fantastic zoo. Plenty of things to see and do, even during these COVID times. I just wish they had more play areas for the kids. The dinosaur adventure is fantastic.
Visited when it re opening after being closed due to covid, we really enjoyed the visit, the shows weren't on as the staff were around the park making sure visitors kept to social distancing rules. We really enjoyed the elephants, giraffes and monkeys! We finished our visit with the Dino walk.We would recommend a visit here!
