A good services where I meet a few friends on a regular basis. Facilities are clean. Staff are friendly and parking is easy.
I went in the morning so got breakfast meal. Porridge with jam, pancakes with syrup and also a egg muffin meal with a latte.nAll the Food was fresh and very tasty as you would expect.nSitting area was clean an staff are nice an friendly.nIf you passing by Darwen an need a pit stop these services are great and also other restaurant choices.
Very clean and nice and quiet unlike most services. No food voucher for overnight hgv parking like all MSA services ridiculous only 1 shower open as 1 is in a bad state of disrepair, I was told. Go to use the other 1 and the water was ice cold! Wouldn't have mind so much if it was the height of summer but it's not!!
Not the best no shop in the main building. Portable toilet looks like they’re not gonna get the other ones referred anytime soon I think the whole place needs a whole makeover
If lucky to get a truck parking spot, occasionally I've had to head straight out again if all allocated lorry bays are taken, then it's an ok little services. Clean, comfortable and safe. The usual vendors on site. Praise to Greggs for consistently being efficient and customer focused. Petrol station staff a bit frosty regarding taking photos but it's not illegal so I told them to mind their own business in exactly the same frosty attitude they used on me. Don't be put off buying fuel as I suppose they were wondering if I was a building inspector.
