After the longest wet spell I’ve ever know we played Blackburn on 6th May24. The green staff have worked incredibly hard to present the course in fantastic condition. Still wet and soft in some areas but presented very well. One or two of the greens have suffered due to the rain but all in all still very good. A great course, welcoming club house and friendly members
Played golf here ,great course went to a function here but sorry almost 6 pound for a beer is not so good , it's a basic function room not a wedding venue, I payed these prices at at a top wedding venue in the lakes.
Only went for a large scale social function but club house is very nice, spacious and good seating. Bar staff were excellent and onsite buffet was very good. Very good value as well.
First time at Blackburn gc today, friendly pro and and the few members we saw, nice course in good condition, some interesting holes, some you can have a blast at and some you have to position it well off the tee, we had heard of the 8th and it definitely gets you blowing at bit, excellent value and we will deffo play here again.
Very well laid out and challenging course. Stamina is key as the course has some hills to attack. Fairways and greens well looked after and lots of challenges on each hole.

After stating course fully open was disappointed to discover all tees on mats and fairways closed having to move to semi rough. 1st tee mat halfway up the fairway putting green awful. Looked at the 18th green just as bad so decided go to Longridge instead. Asked for refund and was given in full. Can understand trying to protect the course in this wet weather but should clearly state course conditions on website.
Good course in well kept condition, friendly staff in Pro shop and clubhouse.
Went to a funeral.wake food was good staff were friendly
Great course in excellent condition. Greens true and fast. Some extremely challenging holes that require accuracy off the tee.
