Went out for a walk in the sun,albeit very cold. Came to Black Watch castle and found the cafe open for takeaway with outdoor seating. Fantastic sunspot with lovely coffee and scrumptious traybakes

I had a baked potato and unfortunately it wasn't so good.It must have been there all day as it was dry and they must have had a cheese shortage! However, my wife had a panini and it was excellent. We had a table in the new annex and it was really too small for lunch. Staff always very polite and friendly though.

The building looks small on the outside but on the inside there is a ton of relics from hundreds of years ago and enough history and stuff to read to last hours. I highly recommend it if you love any sort of military history, especially if you're interested in the black watch obviously.

Lovely cafe and shop. Social distancing measures are excellent and fantastic Black Watch Castle perspex screens!  Oh, and the haggis roll was just great...

Military museum with some interesting artefacts and quirky stories. The cafe has soy milk for drinks, but we didn't ask about food. Good way to spend a morning or afternoon we went here in the morning and walked up Kinnoul Hill in the afternoon - a lovely day in all.

Different galleries each depicting history about the Black Watch. Lovely interactive features as well dress like a soldier and take a photo, activies for children and short movie clips which make the visit that much more enjoyable. Beautiful gardens outside and also a lovely gift shop!
