My partner for our wedding had a fantastic experience at black tie. he hadn't ever had a suit fitting and was slightly nervous as he likes space and gets a bit claustrophobic but the younger gentleman sorry he cant remember your name that helped him pick out his suit and fitted it for him made him feel extremely comfortable and relaxed. if anyone in the surrounding areas ever need a suit fitting then this is the place he will recommend.
We used Black Tie for our wedding and we were not disappointed. The team were so helpfull, made the process so easy and the suits were great. Thank you for making our day so special!
These guys are simply awesome. Professional service from the start, making us feel welcomed, relaxed and with great attention to detail, they even got the measurements of my best man spot on, before he arrived from overseas on the eve of the wedding. The suits were a big part of a special day, and everyone commented on how dapper the party of five looked. Will now be my go-to tailor for any special event, and no hesitation in recommending.
I'm a groomsman for my cousin in October and he has hired suits from this company. I love the friendly attitude of the staff, brilliant interaction between them and customers. They obviously know their stuff and helped me measure up for my suit for the wedding. I would 100% recommend them for anyone looking to hire good suits for any event, they appear to be a small local company which I also like
Honestly, I'm not sure how he did it. Michael is exceptional! He measured me, snapped his fingers twice, and sent me away two days later in a perfectly fitting, hard to find, White Tie and Tails tuxedo. Making things more impressive, I am 200CM tall and not slight of frame. Made no difference. Told me it was sorted, two days later...sorted. What more could you want?
Having bought a tweed sports jacket from the Black Tie on-line shop very quick delivery I found the fit a little tight. I contacted the shop by telephone and received outstanding service from Chris, who sent a larger size for me to compare the two. The larger size was a better fit and and I returned the original garment. Fantastic customer support - highly recommended!
My wife and I used Black Tie for the groomsmen’s suits at our wedding. They had a great selection of outfits to choose from, and the team were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the process. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them - they were an absolute pleasure to deal with!
Went to Black Tie for wedding suits. The suits looked great but refused to compensate us for receiving a dirty suit because we would have had time to take it back before the wedding 24 hours. I wasn’t going to drive 40 miles to return a suit the day before my wedding rather than try and clean off the stains myself?! Slightly odd and defensive staff - and I was lied to about trying to contact me regarding the colours of suits we wanted, which resulted in getting the wrong colour. Dirty suit looked great by the way but I would not use again and they were very expensive. Although we did get a cheap almost see-through shirt supplied with it that we could keep, but my wife would not let me wear it so had to go and buy another one that was opaque. Expect a defensive reply about how it’s all my fault.
2022 Not pleased, sorry I don’t understand what happened. Perhaps you have got too much going on or are a high volume, high margin wedding only business and prefer to have the large orders rather than individuals with smaller requirements? I just liked having one place to go to. Having bought multiple suits from you outright, hiring for wedding and hiring a black tie suit multiple times, you’ve really disappointed me this time. I spoke to a really rude man on the phone who I think is the owner? He told me that I’d made an incorrect order after I wasn’t given a waistcoat which reflect an order preference from 2019. I am certain I ordered what I asked for and didn’t appreciate being told that the paperwork said otherwise. £89 to hire a black tie for one day and immediate return required. As someone who travels for work you have made the process this time round really tedious. Sorry, you’ve lost my regular custom here. Back in 2021 here was my review: 2021These guys were super to deal with. Short notice black tie suit for an event, they were easy to deal, suit was good quality and process was efficient. Price was reasonable too.
Quality Gents outfitters with great customer service. I hired eight suits shirt, tie, waistcoat, pocket square & shoes for my sons wedding at a cost of £150 approx each and you get to keep the shirt !
