Al @ Blacks plumbing and his employees are an honest bunch They pulled a lot of roots from my sewer line from a large tree in yard Eventually to repair properly the sewer line will have to be dug up and replaced. This is costly no matter who your plumber is. They gave me two doable options for slowing down root growth and managing problem until proper repair can be made on my schedule. Other plumbers have urged the more costly repair be done asap. And not mention option's Blacks did. So can't fault others for wanting to do more costly repair, but appreciate Blacks Plumbing for their honesty and letting me know other options. Until I am better prepared financially to have proper repair made.
I Have used Black’s Plumbing many many times for jobs that are commercial and residential. Elvin doesn’t beat around the bush and is blunt and honest about the job. Always professional, reasonable and fair prices are what I look for and black’s plumbing has every single quality. Would definitely recommend these guys.
I have been dealing with pressure tank issues and told twice by others that I needed a new tank so I bought one and couldn't break pvc connector loose to install it so I called Elvin and he stopped out and after checking the tank he said it's most likely not the tank and most likely the pressure switch. He didn't try to sell me anything or even though I had it right there to install didn't try to get me to install that tank. He even told me how relativity easy it was to install the pressure switch. After I replaced the switch and correctly adjusted the pressure in the tank some rust had came loose in the lines and the water turned orange/cloudy as well as slowed down the pressure to a trickle in my kitchen and bathroom sink. So I called him again and explained everything in which he said over the phone it's probably the rust that clogged up the sink aerators..sure enough that was the case. He is very honest and the type of plumber you want to call for any of your plumbing needs.
When we first moved to Lansing, my wife and I tried several other plumbers in the NWI area - none of them compare to the quality work and customer service these guys provide. They've made trips to our house at odd times, charge reasonable rates, and guarantee their work. Whether we needed a water line added for our dishwasher or a yearly rodding - these guys don't disappoint and you'll have a hard time beating their prices. Highly recommend!
This company did a great job from start to finish, they showed up on time, they were fast ,and got the job done , the price didn't change like a lot of other companies in the past when the job was complete .Actually... I was able to use a coupon I found on the website which saved me some money !!!! They were professional , courteous ,clean and the job came with a warranty !!! very happy with Black's Plumbing will be using them in the future for our plumbing needs . Great Job !
I had a leak in my crawl space and they came right out and gave me a free estimate . I agreed with the estimate and he proceeded to do the work. It ended up being a bigger job then expected but when he was finished he still only charged what he quoted. Very nice man. I would call them again anytime.Very professional thank you again highly recommend very reasonable prices
A HUGE Thank You to Mr. Black......Our sewer line broke over the weekend and Black's Plumbing came out asap to evaluated the S*** Show we had going on in our basement.. They cleared their schedule and began work that very next morning I was a very grateful mom They were nothing but professional, timely and extremely efficient! They were very informative and great about keeping us in the loop throughout everything as should be expected...a simple sewer repair was far from the case. Major digging and switching of old rusted pipes in the yard had to be done as the S*** Storm continued to get larger, Mr. Black was just as responsive!!! I was sure I wasn't going to be able to flush a toilet again for WEEKS but they got us up and running in no time at all ***Very reasonable prices*** I REPEAT *** Very reasonable prices*** I was completely prepared to see a bill so large I'd have to take a second loan out just to cover it but Mr. Black was very generous. A+ overall in my book
LISTEN!! THE BEST!! When is the last time a plumber, or any other tradesman for that matter impressed you to the point of exceeding your wildest expectations?? Ever? Never? That's how good they are. I found them by chance, luckily for me they were available to come out right away and finish a plumbing rough in job which was behind schedule and pretty messed up. They saved me. But, besides that the crew was 100% professional, knowledgeable, competent and extremely reasonable, also, exceeding my expectations. I have had the experience of many, many plumbers, electricians, contractors, etc... over the last 25 years in the remodeling business and I never write reviews but, these guys were so good they deserve it and they deserve your business and I am sure you will be happy you used them and will be writing a review next.
